1.45 Leicester: SETTLE DOWN JILL returned to form at Warwick last month when finishing third of eight in a similar event to this particular fair. She remains on the same mark here, and if she’s in the same form, she should post another bold bid down in trip, with Harry Skelton taking over in the saddle. (Win) (NAP)
2.05 Hereford: GOLAN LOOP was a decisive twelve-length winner on his last start over hurdles in May, and returned with a fine effort on his chasing & handicap debut at Southwell last month, when finishing second of six and just a length and a quarter behind Ali Star Bert. He’s three pounds higher; however, he should have plenty of improvement yet to come, and should go close for the in-form yard of Warren Greatrex. (Win)
7.00 Kempton: HUNKY DORY is still a maiden; however, he’s a consistent one at that, as he’s been knocking at the door for a while now. He’s gone close in both starts since joining Mick Appleby, and was only beaten by three-quarters of a length when second at Newcastle earlier this month. He’s a big player off the same mark here. 8.30 Kempton: SPENDMORE LANE is another maiden, and in her case, after nine outings to date. She’s also been going close lately, most recently, when running on over five furlongs at Wolverhampton, when missing the break. That gives encouragement to the step up to six furlongs here, and if she’s away quicker, could have a big say off the same mark for David Loughnane. (Each-Way)
