12.50 Ludlow: HOPELESS DANCER was disappointing on his hurdles debut at this track over a much longer distance last time out, last month. However, before that, he had solid form within bumpers, placing in all three in which he contested. This is a very weak-looking contest, and he should be going very close at a minimum for the Twiston-Davies team. (Win)

1.00 Lingfield: KNIGHT OF MAGIC is a long-standing maiden; however, he’s shown plenty of glimpses as of late that his elusive victory isn’t that far around the corner. He’s up in distance again here; however, that could well be what he’s after, given how he stayed on over twelve furlongs at Wolverhampton last time out, finishing fourth and just a length and three-quarters behind the winner. He’s also on the same mark here and is definitely a player. (Win)

1.30 Lingfield: SUPPLICATE posted an encouraing effort on her racecourse debut at Kempton last month, keeping on to finish fifth following a slow start, and going down as an eyecatcher as a result. She should show plenty of natural progression coming into her second start here, and if she jumps the stalls a bit more alert on this occasion, she could have a big say for Roger Varian. (Win) (NB)

4.05 Kempton: SERENETTA is another filly who ran a very promising race on debut, in her case coming on the turf at Newmarket last month when finishing a staying on third of eleven. She could well prove to be a useful Kingman filly in the future, and represents a top team of Ralph Beckett and Juddmonte, with Colin Keane set to do the steering. A bold showing is likely if she’s progressed from her debut effort. (Win) (NAP)
