1.25 Fontwell: ATREIDES was a two and a quarter of a length winner at Plumpton last week, and will effectively contest this particular affair off a three-pound lower mark, as rider Bradley Harris’s three-pound claim is used on this occasion. That makes him a huge player, and if he’s in the same form, he should take a lot of beating. (Win) (NAP)
2.07 Lingfield: PINK SOCKS ran well on her stable debut for Ian Williams at Wolverhampton on Saturday, keeping on to finish third, whilst not getting the clearest of runs. She remains on the same mark here, with a further five pounds coming off her back via Ryan Kavangh’s claim. She looks well-handicapped, and could have a big say. (Each-Way)
2.25 Fontwell: SHOTGUN SHIRLEY ran a fine race at Cheltenham last time out when finishing second of twelve behind the likely useful Celestial Tune in a Listed bumper. That’s the best form on offer in this particular contest, and if she converts that ability over obstacles, she could take a lot of beating here for Lucy Wadham and Tom Cannon. (Win) (NB)
3.07 Lingfield: TORTURED SOUL drops in class here for Tony Carroll and Rossa Ryan, and has started to look well-handicapped on her form last winter, as she’s now four pounds below her last winning mark. She should make her presence felt at Class 6 level, and should give a good account of herself here. (Win)
