NAP: CHARLIE’S CHOICE – (2.00)
NB: TYPHOON WARRIOR – (1.52)

11.30 Lingfield: LUMINOUS WARRIOR ran well at Kempton last time out in October when finishing fourth and just a length and a half behind the winner, and has been generously dropped a pound by the handicapper for his troubles there. He’ll effectively contest this off a six-pound lower mark, with the rider’s claim, and has to be considered a serious player on that basis. (3/1) (Win)

12.52 Southwell: AS LEGENDS HAVE IT posted a couple of very solid efforts over hurdles at Uttoxeter and Carlisle on his first two outings of this campaign, and goes over the bigger obstacles here with a fine chance if he converts that ability into this sphere. He represents the in-form yard of Ben Pauling, and could prove a useful sort over the campaign. (11/8) (Win)

1.00 Lingfield: KNIGHT OF GLORY is a Knicks Go colt who ran an encouraging race on debut at Chelmsford last month, finishing fourth of eleven in a Class 2 event. These are calmer waters for him as he’s eased into grade to Class 5 level, and with natural progression almost certain, he should have a big say under Rossa Ryan. (11/4) (Win)

1.52 Southwell: TYPHOON WARRIOR showed definite signs of ability on his rules debut at Worcester in October, finishing a keeping on fourth. He should progress coming into his second start here for Dan Skelton, and can have a big say in a fairly low-grade looking affair. (13/8) (Win) (NB)

2.00 Lingfield: CHARLIE’S CHOICE posted his best effort for a while last time out at this track, finishing a head second of nine over ten furlongs. He remains on the same mark here, which is six pounds below his last winning one, and has to rate as a serious player if he’s in the same form. Luke Morris takes over in the saddle here, which is always a big plus on these surfaces, and he should go close. (13/8) (Win) (NAP)

3.00 Lingfield: BOWNDER hasn’t been seen to best effect in his last few starts; however, he’s now three pounds below the mark in which he finished half of a length second off at Newbury back in August. Today’s rider, Olivia Tubb, was also on board on that occasion. He drops into Class 6 company here, and he should be competitive at this level at a minimum. He looks handicapped to go well for Jonathan Portman. (6/1) (Each-Way)
