2.15 Ffos Las: Christine Bielby Memorial Handicap
The first of my selections on Tuesday comes within the 2.15 at Ffos Las, and this is a Class 4 handicap which is contested over a distance of a mile and six furlongs. I think that the Tom Ward trained Kingdom Of Stars should be tough here under Alec Voikhansky, who takes off three pounds. He opened his account over two miles last time out at Kempton under Colin Keane, and will effectively contest this off the same mark with his rider’s claim coming into play. Most of his rivals here are looking fairly exposed, and if he transfers his all-weather form to the turf, he should have a big say.

4.00 Catterick: Peter Conway Loved Catterick Handicap
My second selection of the day comes from Catterick, and in the 4.00 which is a Class 6 handicap that’s ridden over six furlongs. I like Dream Deal here for the team of Tim Easterby and David Allan. He’s far from the most prolific, having only won once in twenty-five outings; however, he’s not been running badly in defeat as of late for this yard, and he’s now four pounds below his last winning mark. That sole success also came over course and distance, and there’s every chance he could add to his tally in this low-grade affair.
