5.30: MY CUBBY BEAR was narrowly denied over course and distance last time out, going down by just a shoulder on her second start. There should be more to come here for Henry De Bromhead and Ronan Whelan. (8/1) (Each-Way) (NB)

6.00: SALAH BELLE hasn’t been seen to best effect as of late; however, she’s a course and distance winner who has started to look well-handicapped as a result of her form. A return to this surface could spark a revival. (7/1) (Each-Way)

6.30: JOHN LA BEAR posted his best effort to date over course and distance last time out when finishing fourth of fourteen; he’s been dropped a further pound for that effort, and he’d have a chance if he’s in the same form. (7/1) (Each-Way)

7.00: JUST ANOTHER EAGLE is a course and distance winner and was only beaten by a head in a twenty-three-runner handicap at Navan last time out. That sets the standard here, and he’s effectively only a pound higher here with the rider’s claim coming into play. (2/1) (Win) (NAP)

7.30: SQUARE NECKER hasn’t been seen since March; however, that was his only start to date, and it was a very encouraing three-quarters of a length third of ten at Doncaster behind Bedouin Prince. It’s hard to see past him here based on that form alone. (8/13) (Win)

8.00: NO MORE PORTER was only beaten half of a length by the current favourite here, Quatre Bras, on his penultimate start, and now has a swing at the weights with that rival, and he also ran well here last time out over a mile. He’s got every chance of reversing that form, and should go well again off this mark. (6/1) (Each-Way)

J. A. Powell silk

8.30: NO MORE KISSES posted her best effort to date over course and distance in September, finishing fifth of fourteen and keeping on in the closing stages. She remains on the same mark here and could get a bit closer if she progresses again. (9/1) (Each-Way)
