Ayr Bangor-on-Dee Dundalk

Wednesday Selections. (12/11/25)

12.30 Bangor: Crest Environmental Services 25th Anniversary Novices’ Hurdle

IN THE AGE fetched £100,000 following an Irish pointing victory last year, and opened his account for the Skelton’s at the first time of asking within a Southwell bumper, nearly twelve months ago. He was sent off favourite for his hurdles debut at Aintree last month; however, the race that day likely didn’t suit that day, and she should be considerably more competitive here. There should be a lot more to come from him, and he has to have a serious chance here for a yard that is as ever, among the winners.

IN THE AGE – 5/4 (Win)

2.20 Ayr: Coral “Daily Rewards Shaker” Handicap Hurdle

LUNDI NOIR was a four-length winner on racecourse debut within a maiden hurdle at Market Rasen, and posted a very satisfactory effort on handicap debut at Chepstown last month following a break, finishing third in a sixteen-runner affair. There should be significant improvement to come from him, and he could have a big say in this for Tom Lacey and Stan Sheppard.

LUNDI NOIR – 9/4 (Win)

4.10 Dundalk: Bet On The Best Night Out At Dundalk Stadium Maiden

SEOLA posted an encouraing effort on her racecourse debut for Joseph O’Brien at Galway last month, finishing fourth of fifteen over seven furlongs. She was slow away that day, and despite that, there was plenty to like about how she kept to her task in the closing stages. The step up to a mile here should suit based on the evidence of her Galway run, and she should naturally improve coming into her second outing.

SEOLA – 10/11 (Win)

5.40 Dundalk: Now Racing Every Wednesday At Dundalk Handicap

CANDIDLY ran her best race to date over course and distance last time out, finishing fourth of fourteen and two and three-quarters of a length behind the eventual winner. She remains on the same mark here following that effort, and will effectively contest this off five pounds lower with Paddy Harnett’s claim. If she’s in the same form, she has to be considered a player for Donnacha O’Brien.

CANDIDLY – 3/1 (Win)
