NAP: JULY FLOWER – (1.45)
NB: JURANCON – (3.30)

12.35: SECRET FORCE was a useful winner on the flat; however, he made a big impression on his hurdling debut at Punchestown last month when getting the better of Hopes Are High by six and a half lengths. That rival had already won twice over obstacles coming into that contest, given the form a strong look to it, and whilst this requires another step up, he could prove to be useful. (4/1) (Win)

1.10: BALLYCAMUS posted a reasonable effort at the October Meeting here when finishing midfield; however, that run came within Class 2 company, and this represents an ease in grade. He could also prove well-in as well here, given the rider’s seven-pound claim, and he could be worth chancing at a decent price. (16/1) (Each-Way)

1.45: JULY FLOWER was a Grade 3 winner over hurdles last term, beating the useful Kala Conti by four lengths, and she opened her account this term over fences in emphatic style when winning at Limerick by eleven lengths last month. She’s the one to beat here, and a serious bid is likely. (5/4) (Win) (NAP)

2.20: HOE JOLY SMOKE posted a very encouraing effort on his seasonal reappearance here last month, finishing third of eighteen in a competitive Class 2 handicap, behind Three Card Brag. He drops down in distance here, which could well benefit him, and he’s versatile ground-wise. He’s a player at a big price for the in-form Skelton team. (12/1) (Each-Way)

2.55: KIKIJO is a lightly-raced five-year-old for Phillip Hobbs & Johnson White; however, he’s already won over both hurdles and fences. He made his seasonal reappearance at Aintree last month, finishing an encouraing fourth of twelve and keeping on to be three lengths behind the winner. He should almost certainly improve following that effort, and can have a big say here off a pound higher mark, and carrying a low weight. (4/1) (Win)

3.30: JURANCON was a rapid improver at the end of last season, winning three of his last four starts, with his latest effort coming at Newbury in March, when winning a Class 3 handicap on soft ground. He should have plenty of improvement still to come, and can make his presence felt here for David Pipe and Jack Tudor. (10/3) (Win) (NB)

4.00: CELESTIAL TUNE looks solid here, who’s an Irish raider for Thomas Cooper, and the mount of Sean Bowen. She won a bumper at Listowel by nine and a half lengths when last seen in September, which was her third start to date. Her experience could prove key in this. (9/2) (Win)
