GREEN DAME has gone close in all four of her starts to date, without managing to win, and continued this trend on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last week, when finishing half of a length second of nine to Akabusi. She remains on the same mark here, with a further five pounds coming off her back via Jack Callan’s claim. I think she could go very close to opening her account here for George Boughey.

TACTICAL PLAN hasn’t managed to get his head in front this season; however, he’s hit the frame on several occasions, whilst still edging down the weights. He ran well again at Doncaster last month, finishing fourth of fifteen in a Class 4 event. He drops into Class 5 company here, and it would be disappointing should he not run well for Ed Dunlop and Rossa Ryan.
TACTICAL PLAN – 5/1 (Each-Way)

KNIGHT OF MAGIC is a long-standing maiden; however, he posted his best effort to date last time out at this track, finishing a length third of nine over nine and a half furlongs, with only the market principals in front of him. That was a very encouraging effort, as he travelled well that day, and he’ll contest this particular contest off the same mark. James Owen will likely find a way to win with him sooner rather than later.
KNIGHT OF MAGIC – 6/4 (Win)

ARTHUR ROSE ran very well on her stable debut for Brian Toomey last time out, finishing a head second of eight behind Cinderalla Man over a mile at Chelmsford last month. She’s been raised just a pound for that effort, and that has to make her a player again here, in what is another low-grade affair.
ARTHUR ROSE – 11/4 (Win)

PISANELLO hasn’t been in the winner’s enclosure for a while now; however, before a poor run at Doncaster last time out over ten furlongs, he posted a few encouraging efforts at Ripon and Hamilton. Most notably, he’s ended up very feasibly handicapped, as he’s considerably lower than his last winning mark, with a further seven pounds coming off his back here via Conor Whiteley’s claim. He also drops into Class 6 company here, and if he’s ever going to bounce back to winning form, it would be off this sort of mark and at this level.
PISANELLO – 11/1 (Each-Way)
