2.30 Lingfield: Try The Racing App This Afternoon Restricted Maiden Stakes: My first pick on Friday comes from Lingfield on the all-weather and the 2.30 which is a maiden over seven furlongs. I like Viennoise here for Archie Watson and Hollie Doyle. She’s a three-year-old filly by Zoffany who progressed from her debut effort to finish second at Wolverhampton last month, which was a solid effort. If she comes on again from that run which you’d suspect her too, she should put in a bold bid here. Viennoise – 6/4 (Win)
3.10 Fontwell: AK Bets Big Prices Big Limits Handicap Chase: I move over to Fontwell for my second selection of the afternoon in the 3.10 which is handicap chase action over two miles and three and a half furlongs. This looks to be all about Joe Cotton for the team of Jeremy Scott and Lorcan Williams. He capitalised on his opening chase mark last time out at Exeter when bolting up by twenty-two lengths. His penalty might not be enough to stop him here and I could see him notching a few wins together. Joe Cotton – Evs (Win) (NAP)
4.05 Lingfield: Trustee Fire & Security Ltd Handicap: We head back to Lingfield for our third pick of the afternoon and this is handicap action on the all-weather over a mile. I’m with Tadreeb here for Michael Attwater and William Carson. He’s dropped back down to his last winning mark, however, his last few runs have been far from poor. He was just three and three-quarters of a length behind the smart Dear My Friend last time out and was just three-quarters of a length behind the winner three starts back. This is an ease in grade for him and I think he should go very close. Tadreeb – 5/1 (Win)
7.40 Musselburgh: Racing Post Mares’ Open National Hunt Flat Race: My final selection of the day comes from Musselburgh and in the 7.40 which is a mares’ national hunt flat race over two miles and a furlong and a half. I like Reflection Of You here for Lucinda Russell and Derek Fox. She’s a winning pointer by the very smart flat campaigner Jack Hobbs and I think she should be potentially quite useful. It doesn’t look as though there’s much quality in the field here and if she is above ordinary she should be winning this. Reflection Of You – 15/8 (Win)
