TUESDAY SELECTIONS
2.40 Catterick: THANKUAPPRECIATE – 9/2 (Each-Way) (4 places)
The first of my three selections on Tuesday comes within the 2.40 at Catterick, and this is a Class 5 handicap that’s contested over five furlongs. Thankuappreciate appeals to me here for the team of Declan Carroll and Barry McHugh. He’s run well in his last two starts, finishing in the placings at both Pontefract and Beverley, and looks to have a big chance to go close again here off the same mark as both of those runs. He should prove to be a solid option.

3.10 Catterick: SPARTACUS FORCE – 6/1 (Each-Way)
I’m staying at Catterick for my second selection, and the 3.10, which is a Class 6 handicap that’s ridden over six furlongs. I think that Spartacus Force is interesting here for Tony Coyle & Kaine Wood, who’s to be ridden by David Nolan. He’s run with credit in both of his handicap starts to date, with his most recent effort coming at Southwell on Friday, where he finished fifth of fourteen. He’s clearly come out of that race well, given the short turnaround, and he can go well here off the same mark.

4.25 Leicester: FENLANDER – 15/2 (Each-Way)
My third and final selection comes from Leicester and the 4.25, which is a Class 5 handicap that’s contested over five furlongs. I’ve come down on Fenlander here for Pam Sly and Shane Kelly. He’s a nine-race maiden; however, he’s been knocking on the door in several of his last few outings among handicap company, whilst continuing to edge down the weights. It appears likely that he’ll get that elusive victory sooner rather than later.
