6.10 Kempton: Unibet 40,000+ Live Streamed Events Handicap: The first of my selections on Wednesday evening comes within the 6.10 at Kempton and this is a Class 6 handicap over a mile. I’m siding with the Harry Charlton trained Opening Bat here who’s the mount of Billy Loughnane. He returned after a few months off the track to finish fourth of nine at Bath last month and just a length behind the winner; that run was his handicap debut, and naturally, he should progress further. He should be having a big say here off the same mark. Opening Bat – 11/4 (Win) (NB)
6.40 Kempton: Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap: My second selection of the evening comes within the next race at Kempton, and this is the 6.40, which is a Class 5 handicap that’s also contested over a mile. I’ve come down on City Of York here for the team of David Simcock and Callum Shepherd. He was never involved on his seasonal reappearance at Chelmsford last month, however, it’s almost certain he badly needed the run and should improve significantly on his second start of the campaign. He’s won over course and distance off today’s mark, which is also three pounds below his last winning one. City Of York – 4/1 (Win)
7.20 Gowran Park: @gowranpark1 On Twitter Fillies Race: I’ve got one selection from Gowran Park on the evening, and this comes within the 7.20, which is a fillies handicap that’s ridden over a mile and a furlong and a half. I’m strong on the chances of Lemsairbat here for Joseph O’Brien and Scott McCullagh. She’s a winner in France and ran a very encouraging race on her stable debut earlier this month at Sligo, finishing a close-up third of twelve despite being drawn wide. She should improve for that outing, and she should be going very close here. Lemsairbat – 13/8 (Win) (NAP)
7.40 Kempton: Try Unibet’s New Smartview Racecards Handicap: We head back over to Kempton for selection number four and the 7.40, which is a Class 4 handicap that’s ridden over seven furlongs. I’m taking a chance on Silver Samurai here for Marco Botti and Kieran Shoemark. He hasn’t been disgraced in his first two starts of the campaign, and both of those runs came within Class 3 company at Southwell and Doncaster, respectively. He’ll contest this particular affair off six pounds lower than his last winning mark, and he also won the last time he contested Class 4 company. Silver Samurai – 11/1 (Each-Way) (4 places – Several firms)
8.10 Kempton: Try Unibet’s New Improved Acca Boosts Handicap: My penultimate selection of the day comes in the penultimate race of the day at Kempton, which is the 8.10, and this is another Class 4 handicap, this time ridden over six furlongs. I’m siding with Tan Rapido here for Charlie Fellows and Kieran Shoemark. He progressed from a pleasing seasonal reappearance run at Southwell to finish a neck second of twelve at the same track last month. That run was over five furlongs, however, he kept on strongly that day, giving the impression that this step back up to six will be fine. I think he can go close again off just a two-pound higher mark. Tan Rapido – 9/1 (Each-Way)
8.40 Kempton: Racing TV Handicap: Signing us off for the day will be the 8.40 at Kempton, and this is Class 6 handicap action over a mile and four furlongs. I’m with Tatmeen here, who represents the team of Luke Dace and Jack Dace, who takes off seven pounds. He improved significantly on his handicap debut at Lingfield over a mile last time out, finishing a neck second of nine and staying on strongly in the closing stages. This is a significant step up in trip for him, however, there are winners in his family over today’s distance, and there is likely plenty of improvement still to come from him. Tatmeen – 5/1 (Each-Way) (4 places – Several firms)
