1.50 Haydock: Betfred Passionate About Sport Achilles Stakes: Kicking things off for this week’s Saturday Preview is the 1.50 at Haydock which is the Listed Achilles Stakes over five furlongs. This can go to Live In The Dream for Adam West and Sean Kirrane. Winner of the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes last year he returned to the track this term with a fine second in the Group 2 Temple Stakes here last month and can build on that here. Live In The Dream – 10/11 (Win) (NAP)

2.25 Haydock: Betfred ‘Play Fred’s £5 Million’ Handicap: Next up it’s the 2.25 at Haydock which is Class 2 handicap action over a mile and four furlongs. I think that Divina Grace should be tough to beat here for Rae Guest and Callum Shepherd. She’s a highly progressive filly who returned to the track last month at Goodwood when a very encouraging third of eleven in a competitive handicap. She acts on the fast ground that she’ll encounter here and should be going close. Divina Grace – 11/4 (Win) (NB)

3.00 Haydock: Betfred Nifty 50 Lester Piggott Fillies’ Stakes: Selection number three also comes form Haydock and the 3.00 which is Group 3 action for fillies over a mile and four furlongs. I like Queen Of The Pride here for John & Thady Gosden who’s the mount of Oisin Murphy. She’s an unexposed filly who was a fine second in Listed company at Goodwood last month despite still looking inexperienced. There’s likely a lot more to come from her and I think she could go close in this. Queen Of The Pride – 9/2 (Win)

3.15 Beverley: bet365 Handicap: It’s over to Beverley for my fourth pick of the afternoon and this is a Class 4 handicap over seven and a half furlongs. I think the one to be with here is Billyb for Craig Lidster and Sam James. He ran an encouraging race on his stable debut last month at York when fifth in a competitive handicap and looks very well treated here on his current mark. If he comes on for that seasonal reappearance I think he could have a big say in this off this mark. Billyb – 9/2 (Win)

3.30 Navan: Darley Irish EBF Kooyonga Stakes: I’ve got one selection from Ireland on the day and that comes from Navan and the 3.30 which is Listed action over a mile. This looks like a good opportunity for Everlasting to add another victory to her CV for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore. She was only a length behind Guineas winner Ezeliya back in April before failing to fire in the Irish 1000 Guineas last time out. If she returns to the form of her effort here a couple of months ago she should prove tough to beat. Everlasting – 15/8 (Win)

3.35 Haydock: Betfred John Of Gaunt Stakes: My final pick of the day comes in the feature at Haydock which is the Group 3 John Of Gaunt Stakes over seven furlongs. I like Ramazan here for the team of Richard Fahey and Billy Garritty. He’s a course and distance winner who was narrowly denied by a head in the extremely competitive Victoria Cup at Ascot last time out which is very solid form. He looks as though there’s more progression yet to come and if he’s in the same form as last time out he could be bang there. Ramazan – 5/1 (Each-Way) (5 places)
