2.33 Leicester: Every Race Live On Racing TV Restricted Maiden Stakes: My first selection on Tuesday comes in the 2.33 from Leicester which is a maiden over six furlongs. This looks like a good opportunity for Calyxoh who represents the team of Jane Chapple-Hyam and Pat Cosgrave. He’s a gelding by Calyx who was only denied by a head on his racecourse debut at Newmarket in April. He could prove tough to beat if he progresses from that run as he naturally should. Calyxoh – 11/4 (Win) (NB)
3.03 Leicester: See Blue Live @leicesterraces 15th June Handicap: My second selection of the afternoon comes in the 3.03 which is a Class 6 handicap that’s contest over a mile and two furlongs. This is a poor contest so it might be worth chancing a handicap debutant in Letmebetheboss for William Muir & Chriss Grassick who’s the mount of Nicola Currie. He’s not shown a great deal in novice and maiden company but reverting to handicap company and stepping up in trip could unlock improvement in what is an ordinary field. Letmebetheboss – 4/1 (Win)
3.33 Leicester: British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes: Next up for me is the 3.33 from Leicester which is more maiden action this time over a mile. I like So Deuce here for Roger Varian and Ray Dawson. He progressed from his racecourse debut to finish fourth of eleven on his seasonal reappearance at Yarmouth in April. He was arguably unlucky not to get closer that day as he dwelt at the start and he met trouble at the business end of things. It’s likely that he’ll be a lot sharper here and if gets a bit more luck he could well have his day. So Deuce – 5/4 (Win) (NAP)
4.38 Leicester: Chris Moyles Live @leicesterraces 15th June Handicap: The 4.38 is where I next turn my attention and this is Class 4 handicap action over seven furlongs. I’m with Hat Toss here for James Owen and Callum Shepherd. He’s progressed with each run so far this season with his most recent effort coming at Newmarket last month where he finished second of eleven. His yard are currently in great form and if he continues his current rate of progression he should be having a big say in this. Hat Toss – 11/4 (Win)
