2.12 Redcar: Flat Is Back On Racing TV Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes: I’m kicking things off this week with the 2.12 at Redcard which is a novice event on the level over five furlongs. This looks like a good opportunity for Indication Ember who represents Grant Tuer and Brandon Wilkie who takes off five pounds. She made a very encouraging start to life on the track when third on debut at Doncaster last month, that run also came on testing ground and she should build on that here, whilst using her racecourse experience against some of her rivals in this particular affair. Indication Ember – 13/8 (Win)

2.42 Redcar: Watch Live On Racing TV Handicap: Next up for me is the 2.42 at Redcar which is handicap action that’s also ridden over five furlongs. I like Huddle Up here for David & Nicola Barron and Connor Beasley. He also ran at Doncaster last month and also posted a decent effort, finishing third of ten on seasonal reappearance. He was favourite on that occasion, however, he’s been dropped a pound for his trouble and will contest this off a nine-pound lower mark than his last winning one. He’s knocked at the door for his current connections since moving from Ireland and this could well be his race on ground he’ll have no issue with. Huddle Up – 11/4 (Win) (NB)

3.20 Windsor: Free Digital Racecard At raceday-ready.com Novice Stakes: My third selection of the afternoon comes from the Windsor and the 3.20 which is a novice event over a mile and two furlongs. This looks to be all about Harper’s Ferry for the team of Ed Walker and Saffie Osbourne. He comes into the race having been narrowly denied in both of his outings to date, with the most recent run coming at Doncaster last month. A win for him looks imminent and he should be taking a lot of beating here getting weight off rivals that have already managed to score. Harper’s Ferry – 5/4 (Win) (NAP)

4.42 Redcar: Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Handicap: My fourth and final selection of the afternoon comes back at Redcar and in the 4.42 which is a Class 5 handicap over seven furlongs. I like Ey Up It’s Jazz here for Tony Coyle & Kaine Wood and the mount of Tom Eaves. He was fourth on his seasonal reappearance at Thirsk last month and gave the impression that he should come on for that outing having weakened in the closing stages of the contest. He’s a winner on heavy ground so the surface will be no issue and he should be posting a big effort. Ey Up It’s Jazz – 9/4 (Win)
