2.57 Redcar: Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Handicap: I’ve got three selections on Monday from Redcar and the first of which comes within the 2.57 which is a Class 5 handicap that’s contested over seven furlongs. I’m with Swiss Ace here for the team of Ruth Carr and Paul Mulrennan. He’s been running well enough as of late on the all-weather, without winning, and has still been dropping down in the handicap. He’ll contest this particular affair off a mark which is eight pounds lower than his last winning one and it represents an ease in grade to the Class 4’s he’s been contesting as of late. He’ll be race-fit and I think he can go close. Swiss Ace – 10/1 (Each-Way) (4 places – Several Firms)
3.27 Redcar: racingtv.com Handicap: My second selection of the day comes within the 3.27 and this is a Class 3 handicap which is contested over a mile. I’m taking a chance on Great Blasket here for Dr Richard Newland and Jamie Insole and the mount of Alex Voikhansky who takes off three pounds. He ran respectably when last seen back in October finishing sixth of thirteen at Chelsmford on what was his second start for this yard. Most notably, he’s gone well fresh in the past and will contest this off the same mark as his last winning one. He currently trades at a best price of 10/1, representing some value. Great Blasket – 10/1 (Each-Way) (4 places – Several Firms)
4.27 Redcar: Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap: Selection number three comes within the 4.27 and this is a Class 5 handicap that’s ridden over a mile and two furlongs. I’m strong on the chances of Lechuga Lad here who represents the James Fanshawe yard and is the mount of Kaiya Fraser who takes off three pounds. He ran a fine race on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month when finishing third of seven and just a length behind the winner. He’ll contest this off the same mark on the turf and also has the additional three pounds coming off his back from the rider. If he continues to naturally progress he should be bang there. Lechuga Lad – 5/2 (Win)
