Welcome aboard to this Midweek Preview where I’m focusing on Exeter and their Monday card where I have four selections to share with you all. As ever, if you are punting, make sure to do so in a responsible manner.

12.40: Devon Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle: My first selection of the afternoon comes in the 12.40 which is a conditional jockey’s handicap hurdle over two miles and seven furlongs. I’m taking a chance on Lucky So And So here who’s currently a best price of 11/2. He’s been in good form in the pointing sphere recently and looks well handicapped on his previous form under rules, I think he could go well here. Lucky So An So – 11/2 (Each-Way)

1.50: Haldon Forest Handicap Chase: The second fancy of the day comes up at 1:50 in a handicap chase over three miles. I think that King Turgeon could prove tough to beat here for David Pipe and Geroid Harney who takes seven pounds off his back. He bumped into a useful sort on his first start of the season at Chepstow earlier this month, he finished second that day by just half of a length and was well clear of the third. If building on that here he’s a massive player. King Turgeon – 2/1 (Win)

2.25: Hall Down Hill Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle: Moving onto the 2:25 now which is a mares novice hurdle that’s ridden over two miles and two and a half furlongs. I’m siding with Endless Supply here for Fergal O’Brien and Paddy Brennan. She was soundly beaten by today’s favourite Alfie’s Princess last time out, however, she made a race-ending mistake two out that day and now gets a sizeable pull at the weights. She should also build on that last run and I think she’s got every chance of bridging the gap. Endless Supply – 5/1 (Each-Way)

3.00: Exeter Mares’ Novices’ Chase: My concluding selection for the day comes in the feature contest at 3:00 which is a listed chase for mares over two miles and one and a half furlongs. I’ve gone with Arclight here for Nicky Henderson and Nico de Boinville, she was impressive on her most recent outing at Kempton when winning by three lengths and looks like a progressive mare. She also gets a weight allowance here and has got every chance of making a bold bid. Arclight – 9/2 (Win)
