Welcome aboard to another Midweek Preview where in this edition I’ve got four selections from three racecourses in Market Rasen, Taunton, and Sedgefield. If you are punting on them, as ever, make sure to do so in a responsible manner.

1.40 Market Rasen: Daily Charged Up Offers At Rhino.Bet Novices’ Handicap Chase: My first selection of the day comes from Market Rasen in a handicap chase for novices over three miles. I like Sure Touch here who’s currently a 5/2 chance for Olly Murphy. He was a neck second on chasing debut at Ludlow last month, and he’ll contest this with seven pounds coming off his back thanks to his rider’s claim. If progressing from that effort here he’s got every chance of going very close off this mark. Sure Touch – 5/2 (Win)

1.50 Taunton: Racing To School Bridgwater College Novices’ Hurdle: I go over to Taunton for my second selection of the afternoon in the 1.50 which is a novices hurdle over two miles and half of a furlongs. I find it hard to see past Panjari here for the team of Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden, he was a very useful performer on the flat for Andre Wohler, and whilst he was disappointing on his hurdling debut for his new connections when well fancied, he put that run behind quickly when just half of a length second last time out. It’s likely that he’ll progress again and if that’s the case he could be tough to beat. Panjari – 11/10 (Win)

2.00 Sedgefield: Sedgefield Legend Roxyfet Novices’ Handicap Chase: The third pick of the day comes from Sedgefield and a handicap chase for novices over three miles. I like the chances of Breeze Of Wind here for Stuart & Som Coltherd, who’s currently the second favourite in the betting at 13/8. He posted a very encouraging effort on his chasing debut when finishing second at Carlisle last month, and this step up in distance may well bring out more improvement in him having won in the pointing sphere over three miles. I think he’s got to be considered as a very live player. Breeze Of Wind – 13/8 (Win)

2.25: Taunton: Colin Crawley Mad As A Hatter Novices’ Handicap Chase: The concluding punt of the afternoon comes from Taunton in another novices handicap chase, this time over two miles and two furlongs. I’ve sided with Surtitle here for Fergal O’Brien and Paddy Brennan, he’s a dual winner over hurdles and posted a satisfactory effort on chasing debut when third of six at at Exeter last month. He got tired in the closing stages that day and will likely strip fitter for that run and progress further, if that’s the case I think he’s got a solid chance in this. Surtitle – 9/2 (Win)
