Welcome aboard to this Sunday Preview, where it’s Welsh Champion Hurdle day at Ffos Las and I’ve got four selections to share with you all. As ever, if you are punting, make sure to do so in a responsible manner.

1.35: Conditional Jockeys’ Mares’ Handicap Chase: We start off with the 1.35 which is a mares handicap chase over two miles and five and a half furlongs for conditional jockeys. I like Rosearelli here who’s currently a 6/1 chance for Dr. Richard Newland, she made a very pleasing return to the track a few weeks ago at Worcester, finishing fourth following a long lay-off and if progressing from that here under her riders allowance, I think she could have a big say. Rosearelli – 6/1 (Each-Way)

2.45: Norton’s Coin Trophy Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase: My next selection comes in the 2.45 which is a novice handicap chase over two miles and I’ve sided with Manorbank here at 4/1 for Emma Lavelle and Tom Bellamy. She’s lightly-raced for her age and signed off last season in style, winning two novice hurdles in comfortable fashion. If continuing her progression over fences she’s got every chance of putting in a bold show. Manorbank – 4/1 (Win)

3.20: Welsh Champion Hurdle: The feature contest of the day comes up at 3.20 and this is the Welsh Champion Hurdle which is a handicap over two miles. In this year’s renewal, I’m siding with Faivoir for the Skelton team who’s currently a 7/1 chance in the betting. He’s been off the track since his win in the County Hurdle at last season’s Cheltenham Festival but he has gone well when fresh in the past. He’s also got form on testing ground and I think he’s a very fair price here. Faivoir – 7/1 (Each-Way)

3.55: DragonBet The Independent Bookmaker Handicap Hurdle: My final selection of the afternoon comes in the 3:55 which is a handicap hurdle that is contested over three miles. I think that Jack’s Orchard comes into the race with a very solid chance, he won well at Uttoxeter back in August and is upped in trip again for this particular assignment, he has gone over three miles previously though within the pointing sphere. If coming on again from his last effort he’s a very big player. Jack’s Orchard – 4/1 (Win)
