Welcome aboard to this Midweek Preview, where on Monday I’ve got three selections to share with you all from Musselburgh. As ever, if you are punting, make sure to do so in a responsible manner.
3.05: Bet In Running On Racing At BetVictor Handicap: My first punt of the day comes in the 3:05 which is handicap action over five furlongs. I’m taking a chance on Star Of Lady M here who’s currently a 9/1 chance for David O’Meara and Danny Tudhorpe. She’s a course and distance winner whose mark has been tumbling for some time, as that course and distance success came off a considerably higher number. This is a pretty poor affair and it would be no surprise to see her bounce back. Star Of Lady M – 9/1 (Each-Way)
3.35: Racing TV Handicap: It’s more handicap action at 3:35 this time contested over six furlongs, and I like Impulsive Reaction in this who’s currently trading at a best price of 9/2 for Tim Easterby and David Allan. He’s another course and distance winner who’s been tumbling down the weights and arrives here on a career-low mark. This is another low-graded affair that wouldn’t take that world of winning, and it would be disappointing should she not post a big effort. Impulsive Reaction – 9/2 (Win)
4.10: British EBF Ruby Anniversary Scottish Premier Fillies’ Handicap: The 4:10 is where my third selection comes from which is a competitive fillies handicap over seven furlongs. A lot of these come into the race off the back of hard seasons with similar credentials, that’s why I’m siding with Mubhijah who looks as though he could still have more progression in him. He bolted up on his first outing for Ed Walker last time out in a Carlisle maiden, and he could have more to offer off this opening handicap mark. Mubhijah – 11/4 (Win)
