1.31 Leicester – (Class 6 Apprentice Handicap) (7f)
This looks like a good opportunity for DASHING DICK for William Stone, who’s the mount of Jack Dace. He drops into Class 6 company for the first time in his career, and he’ll race off a mark that is now nine pounds below his last winning one. He’s also a course and distance winner off a twelve-pound higher mark, and it would be disappointing if he didn’t go very close here.
Dashing Dick – (7/2) (Win)

2.41 Leicester – (Class 6 Nursery Handicap) (6f)
As is often the case in these nurseries, there’ll likely be significant improvement from several in the line-up; it could pay to side with MA FILLE DE REVE, though, for Declan Carroll and Zak Wheatley. She showed significant improvement on her handicap debut at Thirsk last month, keeping on well to finish three-quarters of a length second of sixteen, pulling six lengths clear of the horse in third. She’s up just a pound of her troubles here, and with natural progression likely, she’s a big player.
Ma Fille De Reve – (3/1) (Win) (NB)

5.01 Leicester – (Class 5 Handicap) (6f)
The Steph Hollinshead-trained MAGIC MUSIC holds very solid claims under David Egan in this Class 5 handicap. She won a handicap at Doncaster earlier on in the campaign, and was incredibly unlucky not to add another to her tally over course and distance last time out. She finished a shoulder second of twelve on that occasion, despite meeting trouble in running on several occasions. If she gets more luck this time around, she should go close off just a pound higher mark.
Magic Music – (7/4) (Win) (NAP)
