12.20: KHRISMA will likely go off a short price here. She was a very smart bumper horse when trained in France. She quickly transferred that ability over obstacles for Nicky Henderson when finishing three-quarters of a length second of twelve in a competitive Punchestown novice hurdle in May. She brushed aside her opposition at Uttoxeter on seasonal reappearance last month when an extremely short price, and there should be a lot more to come from her. (4/9) (Win)
12.50: PETTY CASH posted a very encouraging effort on his first run in twelve months at Chepstow last month, finishing three lengths second of nine, despite a bad mistake four out. He should be considerably more fit following that outing, and if he does take the likely step forward coming into his second run here, he has to be considered a live player off just a pound higher mark for Henry Daly. 1.20: GWENNIE MAY JEM hasn’t shown much in his two starts since joining Ollly Murphy; however, he posted a couple of impressive victories for Dan Skelton in the Spring at Warwick and Newton Abbot, the latter being an eleven-length success. He drops back into Class 5 company here, and that could spark a revival now he’s up in distance under Sean Bowen. (9/4) (Win)
1.50: EBSELYSEES is a course and distance winner, and bounced back to form at this track once again last time out when finishing second of eight here, just a length and a half behind the winner. She didn’t get a clear run either on that occasion, and if she’s in the same form, she ought to be bang there again here off just a pound higher mark. (11/2) (Each-Way) (4 places)
2.20: ACROSS EARTH was an impressive winner at Sandown last time out in a Class 4 event, winning by four and a half lengths. He’s been raised six pounds for that success; however, today’s rider, Freddie Mitchell, offsets three with his claim. He could prove tough to beat here for the Moores, and another bold showing from the four-year-old would be no surprise. (9/4) (Win) (NAP)
2.50: ZOEMAN ran well at Southwell last time out, despite a lengthy absence, in what was also his chase debut, finishing third of six, and keeping on to be three and a quarter of a length behind the winner. If he takes a natural step forward following that outing here, he has to be considered, and the Tom George yard has just started to hit form (8/1) (Each-Way)
3.20: MILPAT finished second of twelve on his sole bumper start in France, and looks an interesting recruit here for the Jamie Snowden team. He gets weight off a lot of his main rivals here, and could prove to be a big player for a yard that has a decent record within bumpers. (4/5) (Win) (NB)
