NAP: THE HARDEST GEEZER – (2.18)
NB: ROARING CONQUEST – (1.43)

12.07: TIDDESLEY WOOD has made an encouraging start to life over hurdles, finishing third at Aintree on his first start of the campaign last month, keeping on in the closing stages. He should naturally progress coming into his second start of the season here, and he’s a big player for Fergal O’Brien. (Win)

12.37: LADY KARA perhaps didn’t stay last time out when upped in distance, so this return to two miles looks the right move. Before that, she was consistent in bumpers and finished a close second on hurdling debut at Hereford. She could put her experience to good use here. (Each-Way)

1.08: HELLO CELLO kept on strongly to win over hurdles on her seasonal reappearance at Fontwell last month, and looks the most solid here on her chase debut, with a lot of these having questionable form. If she takes to the bigger obstacles, she should have a big say for Harry Fry. (Win)

1.43: ROARING CONQUEST ran well within Grade 2 company at Haydock last term, finishing third back in February, and whilst he didn’t give his running when last seen at Perth in a Listed contest, he has to be considered a very live player here at Class 3 level. (NB) (Win)

2.18: THE HARDEST GEEZER ran posted a fine effort when second at Newton Abbott on his seasonal reappearance last time out, and he’ll effectively contest this off a four-pound lower mark with Callum Pritchard’s claim. He should naturally progress coming into his second start here, and a bold bid looks likely. (NAP) (Win)

2.53: EDGWELL ran way below-par last time out on his seasonal reappearance over hurdles; however, he likely needed the outing there, on what was his first start for Nick Schofield. He should strip a lot fitter here, and could be a workable mark over fences. There should be a significant improvement. (Each-Way)

3.28: LOCKED DOWN LAD has been knocking at the door for a while now, in particular, within handicap company as of late. Most notably, he was second last time out at Chepstow in a sixteen-runner event. There’s nothing to suggest that he won’t be bang on the premises again here, and he could claim that elusive victory on this occasion for Joe Tickle. (Win)
