1.15: GIANTSGRAVE fetched £92,000 following a second-place effort in an Irish point, and then made the perfect start to life under rules when winning a bumper at Ffos Las back in January. He should be a big player here on hurdling debut for the all-conquering Skelton team, and a bold showing is likely. (8/11) (Win)

1.45: GETAWAY KING was a two-length winner on his seasonal reappearance at Fontwell last month, and a four-pound rise in the weights here may not be enough to stop him from following up. Tom Broughton is back in the saddle, and he should go well again. (11/8) (Win) (NAP)

2.15: COOLKATIE is a very interesting newcomer here for the Skelton team, sporting the famous silks of Kenny Alexander. She has an extremely appealing pedigree and could well make a winning start here, getting weight off the entire field. (5/4) (Win)

2.45: REALISATION should build on a decent comeback at Carlisle last month, when finishing fourth of seven, and most notably, he’s three pounds below his mark when finishing a head second here exactly twelve months ago. He looks like a player for Charlie Longsdon and Richie McLernon. (6/1) (Each-Way)

3.15: SCORPIO RISING is an unexposed five-year-old for the team of Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen, having only had the three starts to date. Most recently, he won a maiden at Perth by just over two lengths on his seasonal reappearance, and there should be plenty more to come from him now he’s handicapping. (6/4) (Win) (NB)

3.50: MUTUAL RESPECT is likely to build on his third-place effort at Bangor last time out, in what was his first start of the campaign. He’s been dropped a further two pounds for his troubles on that occasion and will contest this off a mark that is two pounds below his last winning mark. (13/2) (Each-Way)
