AMAZING JOURNEY – 5/2
He showed clear promise on his racecourse debut at Chelmsford earlier this month, as he was awkward in the early stages yet ran on well to finish fourth. The form of that race is working out well, and he should naturally progress on his second start here. He has to be considered a serious player.
3.30: Wolverhampton
SATURN FIVE – 5/1
You can put a line through his run last time at Yarmouth, as he reportedly had an irregular heartbeat post-race. Prior to that, his form in Spring within Class 3 & 4 company ought to give him a serious chance here off his current mark, and within this grade. He should be competitive at a minimum.
4.03: Wolverhampton
CALL ME BETTY – 6/4 (NAP)
She showed considerable improvement from her racecourse debut to finish second of eleven last time out at Thirsk earlier this month, and she should naturally progress further here on her third outing. Her latest effort is the strongest piece of form on offer here, and it would be disappointing should she not go very close.
4.55: Chepstow
LAMBOURNGHINI – 2/1 (NB)
He raced too enthusiastically over a mile on his last two starts at Ripon and Yarmouth, the penultimate outing being his handicap debut. The drop back down to seven furlongs should help him here, and he can go well off the same mark as his Ripon run for David Evans and Joe Leavy.
