4.12 Fairyhouse: Whistlin’ Donkeys @ Fairyhouse Easter Saturday Handicap Hurdle: The first of my three selections on Sunday comes from Fairyhouse and in the 4.12 which is a handicap hurdle that’s contested over three miles. I think this can go to Young Lucy for Tony Martin and Conor Stone-Walsh who takes off three pounds. She’s run well in three competitive handicaps this term and recently finished third to a progressive sort at Leopardstown in December. She’ll effectively run off a three-pound lower mark here with the rider’s claim and I think she can post a bold bid. Young Lucy – 7/2 (Win)
4.32 Cork: Dine In Our Panoramic Restaurant Handicap: My second selection of the day comes on the flat at Cork and in the 4.32 which is handicap action over seven furlongs. I like Iceford here who represents Jonny Murtagh and Ben Coen. He makes his handicap debut here having run encouragingly in each of his starts with maiden company. Most recently, he stayed on over six furlongs at the Curragh to finish sixth of thirteen giving the impression that this step-up in trip should suit. I think he looks like a solid play. Iceford – 11/2 (Each-Way) (5 places – Several Firms)
4.55 Southwell: Weekly £5 Free Bet With BetUK Handicap: My third and final selection comes from Southwell and in the 4.55 which is a Class 2 handicap that’s contested over six furlongs. I’m taking a chance on Diligent Harry here for Clive Cox and Rossa Ryan. He drops into handicap company here having contested graded company for a while now and he won off this mark when last contesting a handicap. He’s a classy sort on his day and his recent runs suggest he retains enough ability to go close in a handicap. Diligent Harry – 8/1 (Each-Way) (4 places – Most Firms)
