Monday Tips. (24/03/25)

Monday 24th March 2025

7.00 Wolverhampton: Gamble Responsibly At BetMGM Handicap: The first of my three selections from Wolverhampton on Monday comes within the 7.00 and this is a Class 5 handicap over seven furlongs. I’m taking a chance on G’Daay here for Joseph Parr and Daniel Muscutt. He ran well last time out at Kempton over six furlongs when finishing fourth of eight and just a length and three-quarters behind the winner. He kept on that day which gave the impression this step back up to seven could be what he wants, and he’ll contest this off six pounds lower than his last winning mark. G’Daay – 13/2 (Each-Way)

7.30 Wolverhampton: Weekly £5 Free Bet With BetUK Handicap: My second selection of the evening comes in the 7.30 and this is a Class 4 handicap that’s contested over a distance of six furlongs. I like Twilight Romance here for John & Sean Quinn who’s the mount of Jason Hart. He’s not won since his sole two-year-old success, however, he showed plenty of signs last time out over course and distance that his time could be soon. He was slow away that day but was going well before not getting a clear run at the business end. He’s been dropped a further pound for that run and that effort came within Class 3 company. If he gets a bit more luck he can have a serious say. Twilight Romance – 11/2 (Each-Way)

8.30 Wolverhampton: BetMGM: It’s Showtime Handicap: The concluding race of the day is where my third selection takes place and this is the 8.30, a Class 4 handicap over a mile and half of a furlong. I’m with Caelan here for Olly Murphy and Joe Fanning. He was a big eyecatcher last time out when finishing fifth at Southwell and just a couple of lengths behind the winner, that particular effort even caught the attention of the stewards. He remains on the same mark here which is three pounds below his last winning one and he could well post a bold bid back down in trip. Caelan – 8/1 (Each-Way)
