5.30 Chelmsford: Racing Value At bet365 Handicap: The first of my two selections on Thursday comes within the 5.30 at Chelmsford and this is a Class 6 handicap that’s ridden over seven furlongs. I’m with Windsor Pass here for the team of John Butler and Luke Morris. She’s actually a twenty-nine race maiden, which isn’t the most favourable of statistics, however, she has been knocking on the door as of late. She’s finished second in her last two starts, and most recently, she was half of a length behind Ravensbourne over course and distance earlier this month. She’s just a pound higher here and today could well be the day. Windsor Pass – 9/4 (Win)
6.30 Chelmsford: Watch Live Racing At bet365 Classified Stakes: My second selection on the day also comes from Chelmsford and in the 6.30 which is another Class 6 handicap this time over six furlongs. I’m strong on the chances of Lilkian here for Daryll Holland and Rossa Ryan. He’s remarkably a twelve-time winner on the all-weather winner and was narrowly denied another success at Lingfield last week when getting beat a head by Time Patrol. He’ll contest this off the same mark as that day, albeit without a seven-pound claim, however, his current mark is still nineteen pounds lower than his last winning one.
