11.30 Lingfield: Free Bets With BetUK Bet Club Handicap: My first of two bets on the day on Sunday comes within the 11.30 at Lingfield which is a Class 6 handicap on the all-weather over a mile and two furlongs. This can go to Forge Valley Lad for the team of David Simcock and Joey Haynes. I put him up on Monday at Wolverhampton when he finished a neck second of ten which followed another good run at Lingfield earlier in the month when finishing half of a length third of twelve. He remains on the same mark for this particular assignment and his time is surely close. Forge Valley Lad – 5/2 (Win)
1.13 Fakenham: Queen Boudicca Series Qualifier Mares’ Handicap Chase: The second selection for me comes within the 1.13 at Fakenham which is a Class 4 mares handicap chase that’s ridden over two miles and five furlongs. I find it hard to see past Kosasiempre here for Stuart Edmunds and Charlie Hammond. She’s a bit short at the top of the betting, however, given how convincingly she won on her chase debut at Leicester earlier this month you could argue she should be shorter. That’s the best form on offer here and I think she’s got a very strong chance to defy her seven-pound rise. Kosasiempre – Evs (Win)
