5.10 Kempton: Unibet Zero% Mission Handicap: The first of my picks on Wednesday comes within the 5.10 at Kempton and this is a Class 6 handicap over seven furlongs. I’m siding with Charlie Mason in this particular affair for the team of Tony Carroll and Rossa Ryan. He posted his best effort for a while at Southwell last week when finishing second of twelve and just three-quarters of a length behind the winner. He remains on the same mark for this particular assignment which is a pound lower than his last winning one, another bold showing is likely. Charlie Mason – 9/4 (Win)
7.40 Kempton: Happy Christmas From The Kempton-Park Team Handicap: I’ve got a couple of selections in the second race that I’ve had a look at on the day and that’s the 7.40 at Kempton which is Class 5 handicap action over six furlongs. I couldn’t split the two, so I decided to go with both of them the first of which is Grenham Bay for Andrew Balding and Jason Watson. He’s been knocking on the door lately without winning and has been slowly dropping in weights, resulting in him being on a mark four pounds lower than when he won over course and distance back in March. He should go well again. My other pick here is Big R for Eve Johnson Houghton and Charlie Bishop. He’s placed on his last two outings over course and distance and has even been dropped a further pound for his most recent effort when third here in October. He won off this mark here in March and he has to be considered a considerable player. Grenham Bay – 4/1 (Win) & Big R – 11/2 (Each-Way)
