1.27 Lingfield: Weekly £5 Free Bet With BetUK Handicap: I’ve got several selections on the all-weather on Tuesday, the first of which comes within the 1.27 at Lingfield which is a Class 6 handicap over a mile and two furlongs. I like Semser here for Gary & Josh Moore who’s the mount of Tom Queally. He posted his best effort for some time when he was last seen at Chelmsford back in October, finishing a neck second of fifteen when not getting a smooth passage at the business end of things. He’s just a pound higher here for that run and should be going close again. Semser – 9/4 (Win)
3.24 Newcastle: £30 In Free Bets With BetUK Novice Stakes: My second selection of the afternoon comes within the 3.24 at Newcastle which is a Class 4 novice event over a mile and four and a half furlongs. I’m strong on the chances of Fireblade in this who currently heads the betting for John & Thady Gosden, and is the mount of Kieran Shoemark. He’s finished second on his last two outings, with his most recent effort coming at Nottingham when behind a well-backed winner. He sets the standard here and I think it would be disappointing should he not get the job done at the fourth time of asking. Fireblade – 6/4 (Win) (NAP)
4.00 Newcastle: Gamble Responsibly At BetMGM Novice Stakes: I’m staying at Newcastle for my third selection and the 4.00 which is a Class 5 novice event over a mile. I’m also quite strong on one here and that’s Fort George for the team of Ed Walker and Paul Mulrennan. He’s not been beaten far in both of his starts to date, with his most recent effort coming over course and distance last month when finishing half of a length second of twelve. He kept on strongly that day in what can be quite a grueling finish here and should also progress again, it’s hard to see him not involved at the business end of things. Fort George – 7/4 (Win) (NB)
4.30 Newcastle: Boost Your Acca At BetMGM Nursery Handicap: Signing me off for the day will be the 4.30 which is Class 5 nursery handicap action at Newcastle over seven furlongs. I like Sherlock here for the combination of Kevin Ryan and Shane Gray. He’s shown significant progress since plying his trade within handicap company, finishing third of ten over course and distance in October before finishing a neck second of twelve at Southwell last month. If he turns up in the same kind of form again here he’s got every chance off a four-pound higher marl. Sherlock – 5/2 (Win)
