2.45: Every Race Live On Racing TV Novices’ Handicap Chase: My first selection of the day on Wednesday comes in the 2.40 which is handicap chase action over two miles and three furlongs. This can go to Kings Justice for Sam Allwood and Toby Wynne who takes off three pounds, he’s a course and distance winner who’s form figures read 212 at this track in his last starts. He looks to be still on a competitive mark, and there’s no reason that he won’t go well again in this particular assignment. Kings Justice – 9/2 (Win)

3.15: racingtv.com Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle: I’m moving onto the 3.15 for my second selection of the afternoon, and this is a mares novice hurdle over a mile and seven furlongs. I like the chances of Sweet Fantasy here for James Owen and Alex Chadwick who takes off seven pounds. She was an 87-rated flat horse who won on her hurdling debut at Plumpton in January, getting the better of a much more experienced rival in Villainess in the process. I think she could develop into a useful prospect over obstacles, and has every chance of going well here. Sweet Fantasy – 2/1 (Win)

3.45: Download The Raceday Ready App Today Handicap Chase: My third selection of the day comes in the 3.45 which is handicap chase action over three miles and a furlong. I like Tom Cody here who represents the team of Rebecca Menzies and Ross Chapman. He was a neck second at this track on his most recent outing which came last month, and will contest this off a pound higher mark. He’s a consistent sort who often gives a very solid account of himself, and I think it could be more of the same here. Tom Cody – 9/4  (Win)

4.15: Best Odds Guaranteed At Vickers.Bet Handicap Hurdle: Signing me off for the afternoon is the 4.15 which is handicap hurdle action over three miles and half of a furlong. Remarkably, all of the four runners come into the race having won their last outing, however, it’s Barricane I’ve come down on for Olly Murphy and Lewis Saunders who takes off ten pounds. He was a three-length win on his last start which came at Huntingdon, and before that beat the progressive Classic Maestro at Uttoxeter, who has since gone on to win several times. The weight could play a part here, and I think he’s got a great chance of going in again. Barricane – 7/2 (Win)
