The Clive Cox yard has been in very solid form as of late, and he looks to have a very live challenger here in the form of SOUER DE FLASH, who’s the mount of Billy Loughnane. She’s gone close in all three starts, none more so than when she finished a head second of fourteen at Leicester last time out. She should progress further, and she commands respect off a two-pound higher mark on the all-weather here.

Havana Touch will be popular here at the top of the betting for John Butler and Billy Loughnane; however, it may pay to take a chance with EUPATOR for Richard Hannon and Sean Levey. He was well below his best in his last two starts; however, he drops back into Class 5 company here for the first time since his back-to-back wins at Wolverhampton at the beginning of the year. The second of those victories came off a three-pound higher mark, and he may bounce back to form at this level.
