3.00 Kempton: Unibet Floodlit Stakes
HIGH STOCK should be tough to beat here for Andrew Balding and P J McDonald, he looked useful in the spring when winning at Newbury, before following that effort with a neck second to Mount Kilimanjaro in Listed company at Chester’s May Festival. He was given some time off following a poor run at Royal Ascot, and returned to the track with a very encouraging fourth-place effort at Goodwood in September, with that run coming within Listed company. He should naturally progress coming into this start, and he looks like a big player.
HIGH STOCK – 9/4 (Win)

THANOS didn’t enjoy much luck at Newcastle last time out on his handicap debut, as he was denied a clear run when also having to come from behind. He still managed to finish second despite that, which was a significant improvement on what he’d shown with novice company. He’s up four pounds here; however, there should be further improvement to come, and with a clearer run, he can certainly make his presence felt for Harry Charlton and David Allan.
THANOS – Evs (Win)

MOIRA EXPRESS showed significant improvement for Roger Varian on her handicap debut over course and distance last time out over course and distance, finishing a neck third of nine. She was slow away on that occasion, and stayed on very strongly in what was an extremely eye-catching run. She’ll contest this off just a two-pound higher mark, and with further natural progression likely, has every chance of going very close again with Jack Mitchell on board.
MOIRA EXPRESS – 4/1 (Win)

5.15 Southwell: Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM “Confined” EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes
LOLABELLA posted an encouraing effort on her racecourse debut at Leicester last month, finishing fourth of eight over today’s distance. She was fancied in the betting that day, despite being up against rivals who had more experience, and she should improve significantly coming into her second start here. This doesn’t look like a particularly strong event by any stretch, and it’d be disappointing should she not go close for the in-form Eve Johnson Houghton and Callum Hutchinson.
LOLABELLA – 3/1 (Win)

5.30 Wolverhampton: Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM Restricted Maiden Stakes
DEPORTED has shown a solid level of form in his two starts to date, finishing fourth in a Class 4 event at Sandown on debut in June, before being narrowly denied at Kempton a couple of weeks ago when finishing a neck second of ten. That run is the best form on offer here, and as he’s likely to progress again coming into his third start here, he should be very tough to beat for the team of Ollie Sangster and Jamie Spencer.
DEPORTED – Evs (Win)

MOOJ ran in the same race as our previous selection, Lolabella, on her debut at Leicester last month, and she finished a place above that rival in third, just two and a quarter of a length behind the eventual winner. She kept on encouraging on that occasion, and that should set her up nicely coming into her second start here. Paul Mulrennan takes the ride on this occasion, and she can have a big say here for Jack Jones.
MOOJ – 4/1 (Win)
7.30 Wolverhampton: Midnite: Built For 2025 Not 2005 Handicap
AL RUFAA bounced back to form last time out over course and distance, finishing a head second of nine when eased in grade to Class 5 company. This is also a Class 5 event, and he has to be considered as a serious player on an unchanged mark for the team of Daniel & Claire Kubler. He also has the services of the very talented Billy Loughnane on this occasion, which is another huge plus for him. If he’s in the same form, he should go very close.
AL RUFAA – 9/4 (Win)
