Wasn’t able to land a blow on a nice prospect at Nottingham on debut last time out; however, was still clear of the remainder when finishing second. Should improve significantly on second outing here, and have a big say.
2.35: Ottoman Empress – 11/8 (Win) (NB)
Narrowly denied by three-quarters of a length on debut over seven furlongs at Newmarket last time, with that run coming within Class 2 company. Step up to a mile should suit here, and another big run is highly likely.
3.10: Dashing Dick – 11/1 (Each-Way)
Ran well over course and distance last time out, finishing a length and a half third of twelve off the same mark as he’ll run off here. Has won over track and trip previously, and looks solid here in a competitive-looking affair.
3.45: Fletcher’s Flight – 15/2 (Each-Way)
Six pounds below last winning mark, and ran well over course and distance last time out when finishing two lengths third of eight. Generally consistent sort and should give his running once again here off a low weight.
4.20: Silver Chamber – 2/1 (Win) (Treble)
Looks very solid here, won a Class 4 handicap at Ripon three starts ago, and has since finished runner-up at both Windsor and Pontefract. Her mark still looks to have some room to maneuver, and she represents a top yard. She’s also seemingly versatile ground-wise.
4.55: Twilight Moon – 8/1 (Each-Way)
Won back-to-back handicaps earlier in the summer, and looks weighted to go well again here with talented claimer Ashley Lewis taking five pounds off. Arrives here still in form, having finished second of ten at Bath last time out, and looks set to get to give her running once again
5.30: State Of Madness – 4/5 (Win) (NAP)
Comes into the race having won his last two outings at Brighton, with the most recent success being a decisive four-length victory last week. Looks sure to make a very bold bid for the hat-trick here, with claimer Alexandra Egan taking seven pounds off his back. Should be tough to beat.
