Aintree, Fontwell, & Galway

1.30 Fontwell: Pertemps Handicap Chase
LARGY POET – 4/1 (Win)
Ten-length winner on chase debut back in February at Exeter, and a five-pound rise for that success looks fairly generous. He’s an unexposed six-year-old and can make his presence felt here if ready to go.
1.50 Aintree: William Hill Vieux Lion Rouge Veterans’ Handicap Chase
LE MILOS – 11/4 (Win) (NB)
Won his last start out by five and a half lengths back in May, with that success also coming within a Veteran’s event. Contests this off a three-pound higher mark, and he’s got every chance once again for the all-conquering Skelton team.
2.00 Galway: Brasserie On The Corner Handicap Chase
MIDNIGHT MOONSHINE – 7/1 (Each-Way) (5 places)
Placed in his last two starts, with both coming within handicap chases. Looks like a solid option here back down in trip, and should give his running once again for the Harveys.
2.05 Fontwell: Pertemps Network Handicap Chase
BUCKSY DES EPEIRES – 5/1 (Each-Way)
Possibly didn’t enjoy the heavy ground when last seen at Newton Abbot, and he hasn’t been seen since that outing back in April. He won seasonal reappearance last season, and he could go well here on a sounder surface.

2.20 Aintree: William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Maiden Hurdle
BIG TICKET – 5/2 (Win)
Could be an exciting recruit from the pointing sphere, as he was a sixteen-length winner in a point when last seen in May. This doesn’t look like the strongest of events on paper, and market support would be significant for the Twiston-Davies runner.
2.35 Galway: Glenman Corporation Handicap Chase
MILLFORCE – 6/1 (Each-Way)
Posted his best effort to date over fences last time out when second at Fairyhouse earlier this month, and could improve further now handicapping. Claimer takes a handy seven pounds off his back, and he could make use of a low weight here.
2.55 Aintree: William Hill Old Roan Limited Handicap Chase
IMPERIAL SAINT – 2/1 (Win) (NAP)
Boasts a fantastic course record of 1112 around here, and was highly progressive over fences last season. He’s a lot less exposed than most of his rivals here, and I think that he can post another bold around this track.
3.30 Aintree: William Hill Each Way Extra Handicap Hurdle
ACE OF SPADES – 4/1 (Win) (Treble)
Progressed nicely last term over hurdles, winning a couple of novice events, before running well in back-to-back handicaps, signing off his campaign with a neck second of thirteen in a competitive Class 3 handicap at Ayr. That run was off just two pounds lower, and he should be a player again here for top connections.
