1.23 Listowel – (Maiden) (1m)

DAWNMORE

This looks like a good opportunity for Jim Bolger’s Dawnmore to open his account under Seamie Heffernan; he posted an encouraing effort on his debut when finishing fifth of fifteen in a Gowran Park maiden earlier this month, and then followed that run-up when half a length second at Naas just four days ago. He should continue to progress, and has some fancy entries to his name. A bold showing is likely.

3.09 Ffos Las – (Class 6 Handicap) (6f)

HAPPIER

Martin Keighley will be hopeful this six-year-old can notch another success up here, as she looks well in under a penalty. She comes into the race in fine form, winning at Kempton by over two lengths last time out, and also won over five furlongs at this track in August, after a success at Wolverhampton. Toby Moore also takes a very handy seven pounds off her back via his claim, and she looks set for another big run if she handles the surface.

3.37 Leicester – (Class 3 Maiden) (1m 2f)

WADOODA

This is likely to revolve around Wadooda and Allaire, and it’s the former I fancy to come out on top for Owen Burrows and Callum Rodriguez. She hasn’t been seen for nearly a year; however, the form of her previous and only outing is strong. She finished second of eleven on that occasion in a strong Newmarket market, finishing just a length and a quarter behind Act Of Kindness, who has since gone on to prove to be a smart filly for Charlie Appleby, now rated 98. If the Burrows charge runs up to that level again here, and even improves, she could prove tough to beat.

LUCKY RADAR

I think that Rod Milman could hold the key to this novice event with Lucky Radar, who has acquired the services of Oisin Murphy on board. He’s a Lucky Vega gelding who ran with a lot of promise on debut at Chepstow last month, finishing second by just a head, with that run also coming on good to soft ground. He kept on well that day over six furlongs, which suggests that this step up in distance is sure to suit; his sire also had form up to a mile. I think he can edge out the more experienced Aerial Silk, who’s his likely biggest danger.
