12.48 Ayr: Book Day Dancin On 11 April Novices’ Hurdle (Class 4)
Our first pick of the day on Tuesday comes within the 12.48 at Ayr, and this is a Class 4 novice hurdle over two miles. The Olly Murphy-trained NEXT TWIST could prove to be the one here, under the champion jockey Sean Bowen. He made no mistake on his second start over hurdles last time out, getting the better of subsequent winner Precious Metal by six lengths at Southwell in impressive style. There should be more to come from him, and he’s a big player once again here.
NEXT TWIST – 2/1 (Win)

2.08 Newcastle: Midnite Ain’t Your Grandad’s Bookie Handicap (Class 6)
It’s over to Newcastle for our second selection, and the 2.08, which is a Class 6 handicap that’s contested over six furlongs. It’s hard to see past PROFIT STREET here for the in-form team of James Owen, and the mount of P J McDonald. He won three starts ago at Wolverhampton and has since gone close at Lingfield on two separate occasions. Most recently, he finished a neck second of eight off just a pound lower mark, with that run also coming within Class 5 company. He looks the one to beat here on his current form.
PROFIT STREET – 5/2 (Win) (NAP)
