1.05 Chepstow: JOUR D’EVASION won well last time out, getting the better of the reopposing Passing Kate by four and a quarter of a length at Bangor last month, in what was his second chase start. He’s up five pounds for that success here, which looks far from insurmountable, and he’s taken to go well again here for the team of Henry Daly and Sam Twiston-Davies. (11/4) (Win)

1.20 Kempton: DELLA CASA LUNGA won this race last year off the same mark in which she’ll contest this year’s renewal. She also showed signs that a return to form was forthcoming, with her third-placed effort within a Listed mares event at this track last time out, and another bold showing in this particular affair could be on the cards. (13/2) (Each-Way)

1.40 Chepstow: MACKTOAD was impressive on his UK debut at Sandown earlier this month, getting the better of Porquoi Pas Papa by three and a quarter of a length, making him two from two, as he won a French bumper on his only other start to date. The Moores have a good record in this race, and this three-year-old looked useful last time. Another big run is likely. (11/10) (Win) (NAP)

1.55 Kempton: MAMBONUMBERFIVE looks like a progressive sort for the King George winning team of Ben Pauling and Ben Jones, winning both of chase starts to date, most recently, winning at Newbury by two lengths in a Class 3 handicap last month. He steps up to Grade 2 company here; however, he was a Grade 2 winner over hurdles, having won the Adonis Hurdle at this track earlier this year. There could well be more to come from him. (5/2) (Win)

2.10 Chepstow: CREBILLY hasn’t been seen to best effect for a while now; however, as a result, he’s dropped down to a mark at which he ought to start being competitive off. His run at Aintree on seasonal reappearance last month, when finishing six and three-quarters of a length behind Impose Toi, wasn’t completely devoid of hope, and the O’Neil yard is now in much better form. He could bounce back to form here. (5/1) (Each-Way)

2.30 Kempton: GABRIEL’S GETAWAY was only beaten by three-quarters of a length when second to Teddy Blue in a Grade 3 handicap chase at Ascot at the beginning of November, with that run coming off a four-pound lower mark. Notably, he often gets ridden cold, which could see him to best effect here, given that there will likely be a lot of challengers for the lead. He’s a consistent type within competitive handicaps, and looks solid here. (11/2) (Each-Way)

2.50 Chepstow: JUBILEE EXPRESS posted a fine effort in last year’s renewal of this race, finishing a staying on second of fifteen, just a length and a half behind the eventual winner Val Dancer. That run came off just a four-pound lower mark, and he won here off the same mark last time out in the Trial, winning by two and a half lengths. He’ll once again carry a low weight in this marathon test, which is always a huge positive, and he has to have a leading chance again. (11/2) (Each-Way)

Kielan Woods silk

3.07 Chepstow: PRINCE ZALTAR has run well in both of his last two outings, with those coming over both hurdles and fences at Cheltenham and Doncaster respectively. Most recently, he kept on to finish third at Doncaster over today’s distance, and that run came within Class 2 company. He steps down in grade here to Class 3 level, and looks like a solid player on recent form for the Skeltons. (4/1) (Win)

Harry Skelton silk

3.37 Kempton: INDEMNITY is a strong travelling sort who comes into this contest in good form, winning at Market Rasen on his seasonal reappearance, before a couple of placed efforts within competitive company. First of which came when second behind the highly progressive Alexei at Ascot, before finishing third in a Grade 3 handicap at Newbury most recently. This track could play to his strengths, and he has to be considered as a big player. (2/1) (Win) (NB)
