1.55 – Imperial Sovereign – 12/1 (Each-Way)

Made a return to form last time out when finishing third of eleven at Southwell, dropping into Class 4 company following contesting Class 2s throughout the summer. Dropped a further pound following that run, and could go well here at a price.

2.30: Accredit – 2/5 (Win)

Very hard to oppose here following an impressive three-length success at Sandown last time out, the opposition here looks questionable at best, and he should be very tough to beat under a penalty. Represents powerhouse connections.

3.05: Eternal Force – 5/2 (Win) (Treble)

Won his last two starts, including his handicap debut at Newbury last time out. Could well be another typical improver for this yard, and will likely go very close again here off a five-pound higher mark. Big player.

3.40: March Ahead – 12/1 (Each-Way)

Winner of a novice event at Carlisle on her penultimate start, and ran with credit in a tough race at Doncaster last time out. Looks to be on a workable mark here, with a further five pounds coming off her back via Jack Dace. Could well outrun a likely big price on the day.

Runner Jacket

4.15: Splish Splash – 5/2 (Win) (NB)

Fourth behind some nice types at Doncaster last time out in a Class 2 event, that level of form could be enough to win this, and she should make a very bold bid to open her account for connections. here

4.50: Kinswoman – 13/8 (Win) (NAP)

Progressive filly who was narrowly denied a three-timer by a head at York last time in a competitive eighteen-runner handicap. Contests this off the same mark, and looks to have a big chance in what are calmer waters.

Runner Jacket

5.25: Act Of Violence – 25/1 (Each-Way)

Hasn’t been seen to best effect since returning this term; however, he is now three pounds below his last winning mark, and he’s considerably lower in the weights than some close-up placed efforts last term. Could outrun a big price, as he’s also down in grade here.
