4.32 Lingfield: Win £1M With BetMGM’s Golden Goals Handicap: The first of my three selections on Friday comes within the 4.32 at Lingfield and this is a Class 5 handicap contested over a distance of five furlongs. I’m taking a chance on Toolatetonegotiate here for Daisy Hitchins and Brandon Wilkie who takes off three pounds. She’s a nine-race maiden, however, has been knocking at the door for a while now within handicaps, placing on several occasions. She’ll also effectively contest this off a four-pound lower mark than her close-up fourth-placed effort over course and distance last month and she could go very close at a big price. 5.37 Lingfield: Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap: My second selection of the day also comes from Lingfield and in the 5.37 which is a Class 4 handicap over seven furlongs. I’ve sided with Brasil Power here for George Boughey and Fred Daly who takes off seven pounds. He’ll contest this off what looks like a tempting mark, just two pounds higher than his last winning one with a further seven coming off his back. He’s also down in grade from his recent effort which came in Class 3 company at Kempton last month and I think he can make his presence felt. Brasil Power – 7/1 (Each-Way)
6.45 Southwell: BetMGM: It’s Showtime Handicap: My third and final selection comes from Southwell and within the 6.45 and this is a Class 6 handicap over a mile. I like That’s For Sure here for the team of Michael Keady and Sean Bowen. He posted his best effort for a while last time out at Kempton over this distance when finishing third of eight and two and a half lengths behind the winner. That was also his stable debut and he’ll be contesting this off the same mark. If he shows further progression here he should be bang there at the business end of things.
