3.25 Kempton: trustatrader.com Handicap Chase: The first of two selections for me on Friday at Kempton come within the 3.25 which is a Class 3 handicap chase over two miles and four and a half furlongs. I’m strong on the chances of Flegmatik here for Dan & Harry Skelton. He returned to form at Ascot last time out last month when finishing third of ten in a Class 2 handicap and he returns to this track looking on a handy mark. He’s won three times here, including over today’s trip, and off higher marks. A bold showing is likely on the cards and I think it would be disappointing should he not go close within this company. 4.33 Kempton: Racing TV Open Maiden National Hunt Flat Race: My second selection comes within the finale which is the 4.33 and a Class 4 National Hunt flat race over two miles. I think that this can go to Edward Sexton who represents Gary & Josh Moore and is set to be ridden by David Dunsdon. He stayed on strongly on his racecourse debut at Sandown back in November to finish a neck second of ten and that was a very encouraging start to life under rules. He’s out of a decent bumper winner, and if he comes on from the Sandown run, he must be considered a huge player here. Edward Sexton – 6/4 (Win)
