Hazlin Of Ludlow Ltd Handicap Hurdle
We’re off to Ludlow for this edition of the Bet Of The Day with a handicap hurdle which is contested over a distance of two miles. I like the chances of Charles St here who’s currently trading at a best price of 7/1 for the team of Fergal O’Brien and Paddy Brennan. He’s got a string of seconds next to his name and whilst that isn’t normally a positive, it’s his most recent effort which takes my eye most, where he finished half a length behind Enthused. The winner that day went on to bolt up on his next outing and looks highly progressive, and O’Brien’s charge has only been nudged a couple of pounds for what I think was a fine effort. If he turns up in the same form here I think he’s cracking value.
