“Welcome to this Wednesday’s preview where I’ll be sharing my punts for two races from Kempton Park, one of which is the Group 3 Classic Trial Stakes and the other being the Listed Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes. As the week progresses there will be more content released on site for the big meetings over at Newmarket, with the Guineas being the feature.”Enjoy!

Classic Trial Stakes

Born With Pride sets the standard in this contest for William Haggas on the back of her sole win in Listed Company back in November here on heavy going, pitched into the deep end somewhat that day she emerged looking to be a very exciting prospect. I’ve taken her on though and I’ve done that with HYPOTHETICAL who represents John Gosden and is set to be ridden by Frankie Dettori. He cost 550,000gns as a yearling and got off to the best possible start in his racing career with an impressive win at Chelmsford back in December. This represents a challenge that will require significant improvement, however he looks a very useful propositon and Gosden has won this race a staggering nine times. Max Vega who was the winner of the Group 3 Zetland Stakes is another big player here and certainly makes the shortlist.

Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes

2018 1000 Guineas winner Billesdon Brook looks to the set the standard here for Richard Hannon under a penalty, also the winner of the Group 1 Sun Chariot Stakes back in October if turning up in form she will be very tough to beat. I’ve had a punt on one of the least exposed in the field though and that’s the John Gosden trained NAZEEF who’s the mount of Jim Crowley. She’s won all three of her starts since being beaten on debut and the latest of that trio of victories came here in a handicap back in September. She certainly looks to have a lot of talent in her locker and I think she’ll be very much up for the challenge that awaits her here. Gosden also runs Scentasia here who’s another smart filly, she has proven form at this level having won her last two races within Listed company.

My Punt: Nazeef (3/1) (Finishing Position: 1st)
