5.05 Kempton: Unibet Support Safer Gambling Handicap

It could pay to take a chance on HOVE RANGER in the opener at Kempton on Wednesday. Gary & Josh Moore’s three-year-old showed significant improvement when finishing second of eight at Lingfield last time out, on his handicap debut. That effort came over a mile, and whilst this drop to seven furlongs doesn’t look overly suitable, he remains very unexposed, and there could be further improvement. The danger will likely come from the last time out winner, Electrocution, for Chelsea Banham

5.40 Kempton: Try Unibet’s New Improved Acca Boosts Novice Stakes

Richard Hannon’s four-year-old filly ABLON should prove to be a big player in this particular affair under Sean Levey. She posted a very encouraing effort here earlier this month when finishing second of eight over a mile, and that was her first outing since running at Goodwood back in September. She should naturally take a big step forward coming into this start, and she’s likely to open her account sooner rather than later. Holly Mist could prove to be the main danger for Roger Varian, who could also have significant improvement to come.

6.10 Kempton: Bet £20 Get £20 With Unibet Handicap

The very likable POPMASTER looks solid in this particular affair for the team of Ed Walker and the in-form five-pound claimer Ashley Lewis. Following many creditable runs in defeat, Walker’s eight-year-old got his head in front here over a mile last time out, and whilst he’s been raised three pounds for that success, Lewis takes five off his back, effectively making him two pounds well-in. Richard Hannon’s Brunel Nation could be a significant threat to the selection, he returned to form when a neck second at Lingfield last time out, and is a player off just a pound higher mark here.

6.40 Kempton: Try Unibet’s New Smartview Racecards Handicap

Six-year-old TOP OF THE CLASS could return to the winner’s enclosure here for Mark & Billy Loughnane. All three of his career victories to date have come over course and distance, and he’s dropped back down to the same mark as his most recent success here. He also ran well last time out at Wolverhampton when finishing second of six behind Penelope Valentine, and he’s likely to be competitive off this tumbling mark. I Am Me could be the danger for Mike Murphy; he’s run well in each of his last two starts, with both coming over course and distance, and should go well again off the same mark.

7.10 Kempton: “European Road To The Kentucky Derby” Conditions Stakes

It’s very hard to oppose the Charlie Appleby-trained HIDDEN FORCE here, who will likely go off at a very skinny price under William Buick. He kept on well to win over seven furlongs on debut here in December, and there will likely be significant improvement from him coming into his second start here, as well as the extra furlong he’ll face on this occasion. He could be another good one for his all-conquering connections. Newbury winner Venetian Prince could give him the most to think about for Andrew Balding, despite getting beaten by a shoulder when 2/9 favourite at Southwell last time out.

7.40 Kempton: Get Best Odds Guaranteed At Unibet Handicap

Andrew Balding won this race last year, and he looks to have a strong chance to take it again with three-year-old Sixties Icon-filly HELGA, who’s the mount of Callum Hutchinson. She put her debut run at Southwell well behind when winning over course and distance last time out by a length and three-quarters, keep on strongly in the closing stages. There should be a lot more to come now that she’s contesting handicaps, and she has to be considered as a significant player. Toastmaster could prove to be the main danger for the Crisfords, who’s placed in both of his handicap starts to date, and the step up in trip looks the right move for him.

8.10 Kempton: Get Daily Price Boosts At Unibet Handicap

INVINCIBLE SPEED returned to winning ways for Mark Loughnane at Lingfield last time out, keeping on well to get the better of Mart by a neck, and whilst he’s been raised three pounds for that success, he remains well-treated on his previous form, having won off higher marks. He should have every chance of following up, and he also has the added bonus of Billy Loughnane in the saddle on this occasion. Jesse Luc looks like a threat for Mike Murphy; he’s run well in both starts following a break and looks to be on a favourable mark.
