12.15 Sandown: Watch The Unibet Racing Postcast Maiden Hurdle (Class 3)
We kick things off with the 12.15 at Sandown, and the one to be on here looks to be SINNATRA for Dan Skelton. He’s finished second in both of his starts over hurdles to date, each time behind promising types, firstly when a length and a half behind Captain Hugo before finishing second of fifteen behind Act Of Innocence, both of those runs coming at Newbury. He’s a short price here, however, arguably, he could be considerably shorter given the strength of his form so far. He should take a lot of beating here for the Skeltons.

12.27 Wincanton: BetMGM Handicap Chase (Class 2)
We move over to Wincanton for our second selection of the afternoon, and the 12.27, which is a Class 2 handicap chase. It might pay to see with GABRIEL’S GETAWAY here for the team of Anthony Honeyball and Sam Twiston-Davies. He unseated at the first on his most recent outing, which came at Kempton last week, so he should be fresh. Notably, this race could be set up for him, given that he generally likes to be ridden cold. His other two rivals in Eldorado Allen and Outlaw Peter can both go from the front, which suggests that they could set it up for him to come with a late run. The Honeyball yard has been among the winners as of late, and they have another strong chance here.
GABRIEL’S GETAWAY – (9/4) (Win)
1.15 Sandown: Try Unibet’s Acca Boosts Seniors’ Handicap Hurdle (Class 3)
It’s back to Sandown for selection number three, and the 1.15, which is handicap hurdle action. HENRI THE SECOND has a good record at this track, with two victories to his name, and he makes obvious appeal once again reverting back to the smaller obstacles following a poor round of jumping over fences at Doncaster last time out. He was second in a competitive Grade 3 Premier handicap here last term, which followed an eighteen-length success in a Class 2 event, which also came at this track. He should make a bold bid again, and looks like a big player for Paul Nicholls.
HENRI THE SECOND – (9/4) (Win) (NB)
1.30 Wincanton: Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM Handicap Chase (Class 3)
Our penultimate pick of the afternoon comes within the 1.30 at Wincanton, and Neil Mulholland’s TRANSMISSION is the play under three-pound claimer Bradley Harris. He had a successful campaign last term over fences, and whilst things haven’t gone to plan so far this term, his mark has started to tumble, and he takes a significant drop in class here. He’ll contest this particular contest off the same mark as his last winning one, and he’s got every chance of bouncing back to form at this level.
TRANSMISSION – (9/2) (Each-Way)
1.50 Sandown: Unibet Middle Distance Veterans’ Handicap Chase (Class 3)
Concluding the selections for Saturday will be the 1.50, and this is Veteran’s action over two miles and four furlongs. Joe Tizzard’s TRIPLE TRADE is where our attention is turned here. The ten-year-old won on his penultimate start, which came at Cheltenham in November, and followed that run up with a third-placed effort at the same track. He could have more to offer within this company, and the step back up in trip also looks interesting. He remains on a workable mark, and looks like a solid player on his first try within Veteran’s company.
