Finished second in both outings to date, beaten only by a head on debut at Haydock before finishing a length and half behind the winner in a thirteen-runner affair at Thirsk most recently. Steps down to Class 5 company here, and is surely a big player.
5.28: Zarinca – 11/10 (Win) (NAP)
Very encouraging debut effort at Newcastle last month when finishing a head second of twelve over six furlongs, kept on well that day, which gives the impression that this extra furlong should suit, and should naturally progress. Looks set for a big run.
6.00: Havana Halo – 8/1 (Each-Way)
Showed improvement when finishing fourth on handicap debut at Kempton back in August, dropped a pound for that run here, and has a further five coming off his back via his rider. Should be competitive at a minimum off this mark.
6.30: May Encounter – 14/1 (Each-Way)
Ran with credit in both starts within handicap company to date, finishing fourth and sixth respectively, keeping on last time out at Leicester. Dropped a further two pounds for the Leicester effort, and could outrun a likely big price here.
7.00: Golden Rainbow – 5/1 (Each-Way) (Treble)
Nine pounds below last winning mark, and posted best effort for a while last time out at Newcastle when three-quarters of a length third of nine. Dropped a further pound for that run, and looks weighted to go well again here.
7.30: Universal Story – 6/4 (Win) (NB)
Winner of her last two starts, with both coming just over two miles, including comfortable two and a quarter two-and-a-quarter-length success last time out at Southwell. Likely still in form and looks a very significant player here back down in trip, despite the penalty. Should post another bold bid.
8.00: Mr Nugget – 7/2 (Win)
Two pounds below last winning mark, and that success also came over course and distance. Ran encouragingly last time out at Wolverhampton, finishing third over twelve furlongs, and thinks look set up for a bold bid back at this venue.
8.30: Create – 4/1 (Win)
Went close over course and distance last time, finishing three-quarters of a length third off the same mark, and remains a pound lower than her last winning one, which also came over course and distance. If she turns up in the same form as last time, she’s a big player.
