1.10 Stratford: Grace And Dotty Mares’ Maiden Hurdle: My first selection of the afternoon comes from Stratford and the 1.10 which is a mares’ maiden hurdle over two miles and half of a furlong. This looks like a good opportunity for Villainess for Richard Bandey and Harry Bannister. She finished second in a couple of novice events before going up in trip last time on handicap debut which didn’t suit her. Back down to two miles and back within maiden company should see her go very close. Villainess – 11/4 (Win)

1.57 Wincanton: Stay & Spa At The Eastbury Handicap Hurdle: I move over to Wincanton for my second selection of the afternoon which is a handicap hurdle that is contested over two miles and five and a half furlongs. I’m with Irish Hill here for the team of Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden. He ran his best race for a while last time out at Kempton last month when finishing third of eleven in a competitive handicap. He still looks to be on a competitive mark and he should get his head in front in races of this nature soon. Irish Hill – 5/2 (Win)

3.02 Wincanton: Royal Bath And West Show Maiden Hurdle: I’m staying at Wincanton for my third selection of the day which comes in the 3.02 which is a maiden hurdle over a mile and seven furlongs. I think Golden Move should be going close here who’s another runner for Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden. He was a useful horse on the flat and was well-fancied to go close on hurdling debut where he was slightly disappointing at Taunton last month finishing third. He should progress from that effort here though and it would be disappointing should he not go very close here. Golden Move – 7/4 (Win) (NAP)

4.00 Curragh: Lester Piggott Gladness Stakes: It’s over to the Curragh for my fourth pick of the day which comes in the Listed Gladness Stakes over seven furlongs. I’ve sided with Yosemite Valley here who’s currently a 4/1 chance for the team of Donnacha O’Brien and Gavin Ryan. He made a solid return to action at Cork last month on heavy ground when finishing a length and a quarter behind Easy in a Listed event. He should progress from that run here and can use race fitness to his advantage in this and I think he’s a progressive-looking colt. Yosemite Valley – 4/1 (Win)

4.30 Curragh: Newbridge Silverware Sprint Handicap: Next up for me is the 4.30 at the Curragh which is handicap action over a distance of five furlongs. I like the chances of Two Stars here who represents the team of Fozzy Stack and Joey Sheridan. He’s run two very solid races on his two outings so far this term, with his most recent effort coming when finishing a neck second to Stag Night at Cork in a competitive handicap in March. That effort also came on heavy ground and he should be going close once again off just a two-pound higher mark. Two Stars – 9/4 (Win) (NB)

5.45 Musselburgh: Sky Bet Extra Places Every Day Handicap: I’ve got two selections from Musselburgh to conclude the preview and the first of which comes in the 5.45 which is handicap action over a mile. I’m with Individualism here for Charlie Johnston and Joe Fanning. He should progress notably now reverted to handicap company and is a well-related sort, his yard has solidly started the season and he’s another who should run a big race for them. Individualism – 7/4 (Win)

6.45 Musselburgh: Sky Bet Acca Freeze Handicap: My other pick from Musselburgh will come in the 6.45 which is another handicap this time ran over a distance of five furlongs. I like Silky Wilkie here for the team of Karl Burke and Sam Feilden who takes off seven pounds. He went close at Bath earlier this month when beaten into second by a head and has also won over the course and distance off today’s mark. He now has the added bonus of a seven-pound claim off his back though and I think he’s got a huge chance in this. Silkie Wilkie – 9/2 (Win)
