1.30: Southwell

Comments: “Finished fifth on his first attempt within handicap company at Chester back in September, that was over seven furlongs on that occasion and whilst it wasn’t a bad run, he’s already proven over six furlongs which is what this particular affair will be contested off. Big chance back down in trip and among this company.”

1.40: Chepstow

GOOD WORK – 15/8

Comments: “Posted a solid effort at Uttoxeter last time when finishing just over three lengths in second behind Boys Of Wexford. He’s been nudged up a couple of pounds for that run, but he’s still unexposed and it would be disappointing should he not have more to offer for his connections.”

2.20: Naas

Comments: “Could well have the potential to be another star for the team at Closutton, and has looked very exciting in what he’s shown so far for his powerhouse connections. He hacked up on his debut for the yard in a bumper last term, and made no mistake on his hurdling bow last time out at Navan by winning by thirteen lengths. Looks well worth a chance within Grade 1 company, could be anything.”

3.10: Chepstow

Comments: “Despite finishing fourth of four on his chasing debut at Ludlow back in November, that run wasn’t as bad as it reads as he was only beaten by a distance of five lengths. He was tried in some hot handicaps last term over hurdles, and whilst he wasn’t able to really land a blow he’s dropped down to a mark which he’s got every chance of being very competitive off. It would be disappointing if he fails to run well in this.”
