Windsor Preview & Selections. (11/06/2018)

Monday 11th June 2018

It’s Monday which of course means it’s Windsor this evening and it’s once again a fiercely competitive card of contests to get stuck into. Here are my views….

5.50 – Nine Below Zero (10/3) (Jockey: R Kingscote – Trainer: R M Beckett)

(Not the most consistent sort in the world but does have form on a quick surface around here with two course and distance wins to his name on quick going, could get involved if repeating any of those runs here, ran on well to be second here the last day.)

6.20 – Leading Spirit (7/4) (Jockey: B Doyle – Trainer: C Appleby)

(Finished third to Legends Of War on debut and fourth the last day here to a decent type, could be slightly vulnerable to newcomers but sets a decent stand and should put in a solid showing.)

6.50 – Flying Sparkle (7/4) (Jockey: C Noble (5) – Trainer: M L W Bell)

(Won around here last year and has been in good form this term, an all round consistent sort and a bold showing once again is very likely here.)

7.20 – Twin Star (5/1) (E/W) (Jockey: J Bryan (5) – Trainer: A M Balding)

(Ran a decent race the last day at Ascot when coming from a tough position to finish fifth, this not quite as tough as that contest and could get a bit closer if things fall more his way.)

7.50 – Sageness (6/1) (E/W) (Jockey: A Kirby – Trainer: E A L Dunlop)

(Finished fourth on first start in handicap company the last day which was a solid effort, could well build on that here and show further signs of improvement.)

8.20 – Garrick (5/2) (Jockey: R Havlin – Trainer: J H M Gosden)

(Finished third on reappearance run at Newmarket when third in a decent handicap, yards runners often come on from first run of the season and this is an ease in Grade.)

NAP: Leading Spirit (6.20)

NB: Garrick (8.20)
